Services evaluation

The Library and Information Centre of Harokopio University in its efforts to meet the demands of the modern information environment and in the context of the implementation of the subproject “Evaluation Project” through the program OP-Library with full title “Support, Enrichment and Modernization of the Academic Library of Harokopio University” has established to conduct periodic evaluation surveys, in order to record data related to:

• the use of the Library’s services and material (print or electronic) from the active users

• the evaluation of the Library’s services

• the users suggestions

The surveys that have been carried out are:

1. Usability Study of the Site of the Library and Information Centre of Harokopio University (February 2005)

2. Evaluation of Library Services (Phase A: January – February 2006)

3. Evaluation of Library Services (Phase B: November – December 2006)

4. “…if you think so that’s the way it is…: Evaluation of the training courses of the Library and Information Centre of Harokopio University for the Academic year 2007-2008”. [This work was presented at the 17^th. National Conference of Greek Academic Libraries]
